About K13 Media

K13 Media is an independent entertainment studio that creates original films, graphic novels, and multimedia franchises using generative technology. Its work is developed for real-world distribution across streaming, theatrical exhibition, publishing, physical media, and merchandise.

In 2025, K13 released The Cheep! (67 min.), one of the world’s first viable narrative AI-augmented feature films, demonstrating that long-form AI-assisted storytelling could function at feature scale. The studio followed with two additional feature films later that year—Pumpkin Patch (59 min.) in October and Red Nose 2: FULL METAL RULDOFF (52 min.) in December—proving the model was repeatable. Each release was supported by companion comic books and graphic novels, several of which became short-term Amazon best sellers.

With five feature film projects now in active development for its 2026 slate, K13 is scaling a custom workflow built from commercially available generative tools to produce original IP across film, publishing, and physical media.

While its primary focus is building and monetizing proprietary IP, K13 also provides cinematic production services, including trailers, featurettes, short films, and music videos. These capabilities are extended to partners through cost-conscious second-unit and b-roll services, offering Hollywood-scale visuals without Hollywood overhead.

K13 Media does not engage in speculative R&D or “future-of” theater. The studio ships finished projects, publishes commercially viable IP, and currently generates revenue across multiple distribution channels from its self-developed properties.

Please feel free to contact K13 Media to discuss partnerships, commissioned work, or original IP development.

Brian James Gage is a multi-award-winning author, generative  cinematographer/director, and graphic novelist pioneering the use of generative AI in next-generation entertainment.

He is the creator of The Nosferatu Conspiracy trilogy—an Amazon best-selling novel epic that has earned international recognition and been awarded 12 "best horror" nods across the trilogy. Brian was also honored in 2025 with the Rusty Bucket Award from the AI Music Video Awards in Las Vegas for his contributions to generative entertainment.

A cinematic storyteller and narrative architect, he has also launched and sold several successful businesses across tech, manufacturing, and product development—experience that sharpened the business discipline behind his creative work.

Today he is building out K13 Media as the vanguard of next-generation entertainment, while also operating as a hired gun, consulting on AI and digital production workflows for established Hollywood entities and independent creators alike.

His projects span feature films, episodic shorts, and graphic novels, with audiences in the hundreds of thousands across platforms including Apple TV and Roku. Notably, his feature The Cheep (July 2025)—one of the world’s first AI-augmented feature films—became a viral hit online, reaching hundreds of thousands of viewers and positioning him at the forefront of long-form generative cinema.

Beyond film and publishing, Brian is pursuing classical piano at the conservatory level, bringing the same rigor and depth of interpretation to his music studies that he brings to the screen and page.
